Great tutorial! It used to work pefrectly; but now I am having a problem with the transform tool on the same computer, same program. I’ve tried all that you already recommended to other people who had the transformer box all over the image instead of over the brush. Tried Ctrl and [ or ], and Ctrl and all other signs and letters on the keyboard lol; but it doesn’t do anything. Any other suggestions? It’s really frustrating, after you already tried it and it worked so good. Please help!

For the hair, I usually use the blur-sharpen-blur-sharpen move. It creates the illusion of random depths of field of the hair strands: some are thick and some are thin. Sometimes I zoom in really close and use the smudge tool at a little over 0px and strength at 80-95. Then on with the b-s-b-s move. Works, at least for me. :)

    Thanks for using Rihanna.

Great tutorial! The refine edge tool works wonders for me as I mask out a lot of women with wavy hair. Thanks!
